Ministry Plan

A Ministry Plan contains the Congregational Goals for the next 3-5 years; it is a plan of action that answers the questions:  How can it be achieved?  What steps need to be taken?  By when?  Who will be the persons or groups with primary responsibility for accomplishing the goal?  Our Ministry Plan is as follows:

Growth

• Move from present plateau of 75 (average) worshippers to 100 (average) worshippers per Sunday by attempting to re-active inactive members and by having quarterly bring a friend Sundays
• Assess the need for a second service as an addition to present traditional service
• Engage in an aggressive marketing campaign to make Christian Temple well known throughout the community
• Become fully parent and child friendly in all spaces and activities
• Identify and invite three outside groups to use our facilities
• Develop a building retrofit plan to enhance the buildings beauty, accessibility and functionality for ministry in the 21^st century

Spirituality

• Develop a Spiritual Life Ministry Team that will be charged with planning 3 to 5 spiritual life events during the church year
• Develop a Music Ministry Team which will be charged with restarting and maintaining our music ministry at Christian Temple

Witness

• The Board of Elders will take the lead in developing opportunities for church members to witness to their faith

Belonging

• We will intentionally create an atmosphere that is conducive to building relationship with church members and friends

Service/Mission

• We will continue to support our present mission opportunities while seeking to add one new mission each program year over the next three years
